MHS Women's Services Receives Level I Re-Designation

On March 5, 2024, Medina Regional Hospital was re-designated as a Level I (Well Care) Neonatal Facility in Perinatal Care Region-P by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This designation is based on the hospital's capabilities and history of providing care to infants who meet the descriptions that define the level of care. The hospital underwent a formal survey conducted by a third-party in order to be designated at this level.
This re-designation as a Level I Neonatal Facility is not only a great accomplishment for Medina Healthcare System, but it also reflects the hospital's commitment to continuing to provide the best possible care for infants in Medina County.
